Isn't she cute?! The unfortunate thing about taking pictures of my beautiful girl is that my camera puts off this really annoying red light and so even if she was smiling seconds before I push the button, as soon as she sees the light, her blue eyes get big and wide and the smile goes away. :( But here you go, anyway....enjoy!

She's mostly sitting up without support, but we use the boppy pillow just in case.

Here she is with big brother Caleb, both in their adorable footie jammies.

Those silly boys put their soldier hat on their baby sister!

Eating some of Mama's sweet potato...and loving it!

Cutie pie!
Such a sweetie pie, looks like her mommy. She has the kind of cheeks you like to kiss on. Te quiero Libbie. Abuela.
ReplyDeleteThe annoying red light is your red eye reduction going off could be a preflash (to reduce the redeye). There may be a setting where you can set it to "fill flash" to reduce that effect, or turn it off completely and then try putting a make shift light filter over your flash (like a piece of milk jug cut into a square to put over your flash to diffuse the flash). Depends on what kind of camera you are using and what mode you are shooting in. :)
ReplyDeleteIf your camera has manual settings, you can turn the flash off completely, and compensate with your iso setting by bumping it up from 150 -200 to say, more like 400-800 for indoors with lower light.
Libby is a cutie and the last photo of her is really sharp and nice.
Oh, The one before it...you are standing a tad too close to her based on what you camera's lens distance requires. A few steps back or make sure you are zoomed back out completely first, then within 3-4 steps...that would probably bring her into focus a little better.
A few unsolicited tips from jennography. ;) She's really sitting up well. Happy New Year to you and yours. jenn
