Waiting...

We've been back home in NC for a week now. It's been so busy that it feels like we've been back much longer than that! Only 2 days after being home, Aron and I knew that, despite the fact that we have no idea where God's going to send us next, we needed to move out of our house. So somehow, between the numerous parties and other events going on in the week that we've been home, I've managed to pack a whole bunch of stuff. I'm trying not to go crazy in this house, but looking at all the disarray is no fun!

Several of our friends and family have asked us where we're going and the only answer I can give is, "I don't know." And it's the honest truth! Aron's job at TMobile didn't hire him back when we returned, he's applied for several jobs in various ministry positions around the country, so now we just are waiting. Waiting on God to come through somehow, someway. And He always does! I know we won't be homeless after the 31st of July because a family at church offered for us to live with them or we might go visit some family for a couple weeks....again, I don't know what we'll do.

What I DO know is that we will continue to trust that God has plans for us, plans that will be for our good. I do wish I had a small clue about what those might be, but that's not usually how God works with us it seems. The other morning I was reading the Bible, not really looking for anything in particular when I came across these verses that seemed to be just for me:

"But blessed is the man who trusts me, God,

the woman who sticks with God.

They're like trees replanted in Eden,

putting down roots near the rivers-

Never a worry through the hottest of summers,

never dropping a leaf,

Serene and calm through droughts,

bearing fresh fruit every season."

Jeremiah 17: 7-8 The Message

So we'll keep waiting and praying, continuing to serve God in whatever capacity He gives each day, working towards making KingMaker Ministries as ready as possible for God to do His thing. Will you please pray with us?
